SHWMAE! Hello!
I'm Summer (She/Her), a Saint-Lucian Graphic Designer born and raised in South Wales, UK. Growing up, I've always been invested in how we visually communicate to the world, exhibiting deeper meanings and messages to audiences through the use of typography, colour-theory and shapes.
During university, I entered various competitions, and went on to win GOLD at the Creative Conscience Awards in 2023. I was also shortlisted for the 2022 Creative Conscience Awards and 2022 Libraries Wales logo competition for my work on independent campaigns and Logo design.
Right after graduating from UWTSD, Swansea College of Art, I secured my first industry job within the gaming industry and moved to London to pursue my professional career as a designer. Since then, I have been continually working on my craft, improving as a young designer, and establishing my presence within the entertainment industry.
Alongside this, I've ventured into different hobbies to keep my independent creative heart beating! Due to music being one of the core aspects of my life, I began learning how to DJ and started creating my own remixes (inspired by the Jersey Club genre).
I'm an individual that thrives when stepping out of the comfort zone, and with that being said, I'm excited about my future and the unknown, as I build my foundation.
